Would you be our new Electrical Design Engineer?
We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our welcoming and dedicated Separation Business Line Delivery team at Metso. In this role, you will focus on the electrical design of customised thickener systems delivered to clients globally. This includes responsibility for the electrical control system design from schematics and PI&D´s to functional documentation and single line diagrams, ensuring that each delivery meets both technical and customer-specific requirements. You will be an integral part of the project team, acting as a technical expert and working in co-operation with Project Managers, Product Line specialists and production to ensure the quality and reliability of each delivery. From time to time, your role may also include client collaboration, such as providing technical support or participating in commissioning activities related to your design scope.
This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will be employed by Biisoni. The role is based at our Espoo office, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Electrical Engineering professional. To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of electrical design, particularly control panel design, and some hands-on experience with EPLAN Preplanning. Excellent spoken and written English is required, and Finnish language skills are seen as a plus.
As a person, you are a detail-oriented and self-driven problem solver who takes ownership of your work. You work systematically and remain calm and solution-focused even in demanding situations. You have good interpersonal and communication skills, which help you work smoothly with different stakeholders. You are committed to continuous learning and eager to deepen your expertise with our products and systems.
