Would you be our new Delivery Specialist?

We are seeking a Delivery Specialist to join our welcoming and dedicated team at Metso. In this role you plan, coordinate and monitor spare part related activities and manage spare parts deliveries in assigned projects. Taking ownership of multiple project-specific spare part orders from start to delivery, you will be working as a crucial link between various internal stakeholders. The framework of the work is set in corporate processes and guidelines and project specific contractual requirements. You ensure spare parts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality while managing and mitigating risks.

The position is fulltime and fixed term 12-month contract, and you will be based at our Tampere office.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional with a desire to grow in an innovative and multicultural environment. Your educational background can be in business or engineering and some prior relevant work experience is required. You are proficient in IT tools, including MS Office. Preferably you would also have previous knowledge of SAP. Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English are essential for this role and any Finnish skills are considered as an advantage.

As a person, you are service-minded, patient and accurate team player but are also able to take ownership of your own work tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as you will work daily with various internal stakeholders. We hope that you are pedantic and able to perform well under pressure whilst maintaining a relaxed and flexible professional mindset. You will be continuously learning new things and it is important that you are motivated and eager to develop your skills and knowledge with our products and services.
