Would you be our new Sales Engineer?
Do you have experience in technical sales and find it exciting to create and maintain new customer relationships? Do you enjoy working independently in the Finnish market while being part of a large international organization? Then this could be your next job.
The industrial equipment rental department is now looking for a Sales Engineer who will be excited to build relationships, advise, and deliver solutions to companies in southern Finland. You will report to the Sales Manager for the Nordic region and be part of the nine-person Atlas Copco Rental team in Finland, while also being part of the wider Atlas Copco organization in Finland and Europe. Our Finnish office is located in Vantaa, and you will be based there if you live nearby but you have the possibility to work flexibly in hybrid model.
As a Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include identifying segments and areas in Finland with growth opportunities for Specialty Rental solutions related to the rental of compressors, generator solutions, nitrogen, and steam boilers to industrial customers. You will also be responsible for identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales activities and customer visits, and proactively finding and establishing new customer accounts. Additionally, you will provide necessary information and respond to customer inquiries, prepare presentations showing product solutions and benefits, and prepare quotes using the company's digital quotation module. You will consult with technical experts within the organization, prepare sales reports, and update sales information in the CRM system. You will also be expected to maintain your professional and technical knowledge through workshops, internal e-learning, and professional networks.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you will need proven B2B sales experience, preferably related to our industry. You should be good at presenting and selling, with an ability to familiarize yourself with technical solutions. A technical background is considered as an advantage. We are looking for someone who can establish strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers at customer companies, develop business in new areas, and communicate effectively in both Finnish and English.
In terms of personal qualities, you should be good at working independently and leveraging the skills of your colleagues. We are looking for a highly driven individual who is flexible and able to work within a large international organization that spans several countries. You should be a team player who also considers others in the department. Additionally, you should be excited about spending significant time on the road and with customers, as well as occasionally traveling to our department headquarters in Belgium.
