Would you be our new Project Administrator?
We are seeking a Project Administrator to join our welcoming and collaborative team at Metso. In this role, you will support project managers in global project operations and take responsibility for various project administration tasks in SAP, from project and sales order creation to invoicing support, milestone monitoring, forecasting, reporting, and project closing activities. SAP will be an important daily tool in your work.
Your work will include coordinating with project managers and internal stakeholders across logistics, procurement, engineering, finance, and other support functions to ensure projects move forward smoothly and according to schedule. You will manage multiple ongoing priorities, support different project-related processes, and maintain accurate information throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves regular communication with global stakeholders and participating in meetings across different time zones in an international environment.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until the end of 2026, starting as soon as possible. You will be employed by Biisoni and work on assignment at Metso. The position can be based at Metso’s offices in Espoo or Lappeenranta, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and organized professional who enjoys working in a cross-functional and international environment. Your educational background can be in business or another relevant field, or you may have gained suitable skills through previous work experience. To succeed in this role, you should already have hands-on experience with SAP and feel comfortable navigating different system-based project processes. Previous experience in project coordination, project administration, or other project support tasks is considered an advantage. Strong Excel skills are required, and Power BI knowledge is seen as a plus. Excellent spoken and written English skills are required, as the team works globally across multiple regions and time zones.
As a person, you are structured, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment where multiple stakeholders may need your support at the same time. You work independently while also collaborating smoothly with different stakeholders and colleagues globally. You are not afraid to ask questions, communicate openly, and take ownership of your responsibilities. The role suits a person who enjoys keeping the bigger picture under control, remains calm under pressure, and is motivated by supporting others and making complex project operations run smoothly.
Why us?
We value our dedicated and driven professionals. As an important part of our highly motivated and skilled team, you contribute directly to our shared success. We offer you an exciting opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders, supported by an open-minded, international, and friendly community of experts. Once you have a solid grasp of the job, you will have the flexibility to work partly remotely, along with excellent opportunities to develop your professional skills and knowledge in a cutting-edge company at the forefront of its industry. We're committed to your success and will provide you with a comprehensive onboarding and a supportive environment where you can truly thrive.
