What would you be doing?
In this role, you will work as part of the procurement team, supporting indirect procurement activities across Prima Power’s international operations, including Finland and Italy. You will support supplier relationship management and participate in contract negotiations, and ensure that procurement supports business targets in terms of cost efficiency, quality, and delivery, with a direct impact on business performance and cost savings.
Your work includes managing procurement categories such as ICT, logistics, real estate & facilities, and HR services. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. ICT, operations, HR) to understand business needs and translate them into effective sourcing decisions.
You will also be expected to follow procurement processes and contribute to achieving and exceeding defined KPI targets. The role has a strong international dimension, and you will work closely with global colleagues and suppliers. The position includes occasional travel, mainly between Finland and Italy, as well as visits to suppliers.
What are we looking for?
In this role, you will succeed if you have a structured mindset and a willingness to take ownership of procurement activities.
You may already have experience in procurement or a related role, but we also welcome candidates with a relevant background who are motivated to grow into a strategic procurement role. You have experience working in an international or multinational environment and an understanding of contract negotiations, including services, capital expenditure and rental agreements. You approach your work in a data-driven and analytical way and have a basic understanding of financial and legal aspects related to procurement. You are able to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a structured manner.
Experience in areas such as ICT (software, cloud and services), logistics (transportation, packaging and related services), real estate and facility management, or HR-related services is considered an advantage. Fluent English and Finnish are both required in this role. Due to the nature of the role, a valid driving licence and access to a car are required.
You are a proactive and team player who enjoys working in an international environment. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. You have a detail-oriented and methodical approach to your work and are comfortable operating in a changing environment. You take ownership of your responsibilities and are able to move things forward independently.
