Would you be our new Controlling Process & Systems Specialist?
As a Controlling Process & Systems Specialist, you work at the core of our international controlling function. You are responsible for implementing and continuously developing the Plansee Group’s SAP-based controlling concepts, with a strong focus on system design, process integration, and hands-on problem-solving across our global entities.
You will play an active role in developing our SAP CO and CO-PA processes, as well as contributing to broader development initiatives such as S/4HANA optimisation, testing and upcoming rollouts. In your daily work, you support local controllers worldwide with month-end closing activities, SAP-related posting corrections and resolving controlling issues together with our entities.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will join a dedicated four-person team located in Finland, Germany and Austria. The role is based at our GTP office in Jyväskylä, with a hybrid model that allows up to two remote working days per week. Occasional travel to headquarters (1–2 times per year) and project related travelling is part of the role.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with a relevant educational background, such as BSc or MSc in Business Administration. You have at least two years of experience in controlling, finance systems, or other related financial roles, and you understand controlling processes through either studies or hands-on work.
To succeed in this role, you should have practical experience with SAP FI/CO (or similar ERP systems), including cost element, cost center and cost object accounting. You do not need to be an IT specialist, but it helps if you feel comfortable working with reporting tools and planning applications. Furthermore, a strong interest in defining and reshaping processes in an ERP environment is expected. Knowing how financial data and underlying value flows move through an organization is a significant advantage. Experience in process mapping, requirements definition, testing or change impact assessment is equally relevant.
You communicate fluently in English, and German skills are seen as an asset. You work in a structured and proactive way and express your thoughts clearly. You approach your work with a positive mindset, take initiative naturally and enjoy collaborating with colleagues in an international environment.
Why us?
We offer a versatile and meaningful role within Group Controlling, where you can challenge yourself and build your expertise with systems. You will have real influence on how work is done and the chance to contribute to developing processes across the Group.
We support continuous professional growth through structured onboarding, mentoring, and opportunities to work on projects across different business areas. You will join a welcoming, low-hierarchy work community where openness, trust and teamwork are genuinely valued. As part of GTP Finland, you will also have access to excellent employee benefits, including occupational healthcare, extended medical insurance and Epassi.
