What will you be working on?

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our client Kasten, a pioneer in storage solutions with over 130 years of history and a strong global presence. Kasten is investing in building its internal software development capabilities — and as a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in this transformation.

In this position, you will take technical ownership of Kasten’s Warehouse Management System (WMS). Initially, you will familiarize yourself with the existing Delphi-based system, which is actively used by customers worldwide. Once onboarded, you will be responsible for developing new functionalities and integrations — including REST APIs for ERP systems and automation devices. Over the coming years, your focus will gradually shift towards building new software components using modern technologies.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Lohja, Finland, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. If you’re located elsewhere in Finland, remote-first arrangements can be discussed. Occasional travel (1–2 days per month) may be required. The preferred start date is August or Fall 2025.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a senior developer with over 10 years of professional software development experience. Your industry background can vary — what matters most is strong technical expertise and the ability to take ownership of complex systems. You should have experience with Delphi OR similar technologies, combined with a strong willingness to learn Delphi quickly. Our current systems are built in Delphi, and upcoming development will also leverage C# and .NET — skills that are highly valued in this recruitment.

In addition, experience with modern web technologies is considered a plus. You should be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and system integrations. Experience with version control (e.g. GitHub) and Azure DevOps is appreciated as well. Knowledge of Android or mobile development is an advantage. A relevant educational background is appreciated, though equivalent expertise gained through work experience is equally valued.

We value a proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges independently. You should be comfortable working in a team and communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Fluency in English is required, and Finnish is considered a strong asset — though not mandatory.
