Would you be our new Customer Service Specialist?
We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our welcoming and dedicated Customer Service Team at Metso. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the order process for spare and wear parts, from preparing offers and processing orders in SAP to following up on deliveries and invoicing. You will monitor material availability, ensure that information is correct, and make sure each order proceeds smoothly and on schedule. SAP is an important daily tool in your work.
Your work will include managing incoming requests through shared mailboxes, coordinating with logistics and procurement, and keeping customers informed about their order progress. You will respond to inquiries by email and phone, ensuring that every customer receives timely and professional service. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues from sales, production, logistics, procurement, finance, and technical support to solve challenges, secure deliveries, and provide excellent customer service.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for six months, starting as soon as possible. You will be employed by Biisoni and will work on assignment at Metso. The position can be based at Metso’s offices in Oulu, Tampere, Espoo, or Lappeenranta, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated and proactive professional with an interest in technical environments. Your educational background can be in the field of business or engineering, for example a bachelor’s degree in international business or engineering, or you may have gained equivalent skills through relevant work experience. To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience with SAP. Previous experience in customer service or purchasing, particularly within an industrial setting, is considered an advantage. Excellent spoken and written Finnish and good English skills are required.
As a person, you are quick to learn, reliable, and have an excellent service attitude. You work in an organized way, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a solution-oriented mindset. You are not afraid to ask for help when needed and have a genuine eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills help you collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders in an international environment.
